Joining Fee

​

A one of payment of £50 which includes: Uniform, Insurance, Syllabus and Membership to the academy and organisation.

Personal Training

​

PT sessions are a great way to get fit quickly or improve your technique faster or focus on something specific. Our trainers will provide a tailored session, catering to your specific needs. Check out ardfitness.com for more on PT.

Policy

New members with existing medical conditions are advised to consult a doctor before attending and training in any classes offered by the ARD Martial Arts as physical exercise could aggravate some medical problems. Before participating in the class, the member must inform his/her instructor of any existing sickness, medical problems or injuries and will also do so if any of these are experienced before, during and right after the session.

Membership and Sign-up Fees

After your initial free trial class, the membership application process must be completed before you can start attending any more classes or using the facilities. Your first membership payment includes a Licence and Insurance fee of £20 (payable again annually on renewal) , plus any fees for your chosen payment plan. These fees are not refundable outside of the statutory 7 day ‘cooling-off period’ or if a class is attended. Membership can also be set up and purchased online.

PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR MEMBERSHIPS WORK ON A MONTHLY ROLLING BASIS. THE MONTHLY AUTOMATIC CHARGE WILL BE TAKEN AUTOMATICALLY UNLESS WE RECEIVE WRITTEN NOTICE (email us on info@alfiedaviskickboxing.com) OF YOUR INTENTION TO QUIT YOUR MEMBERSHIP.

 

ARD Martial Arts has the absolute right to refuse an application for membership or cancel a membership at any time.

ARD Martial arts runs 50 weeks of the year. The academy will close from the 20th December to 3rd January every year.

FREEZING/CANCELLATION OF MEMBERSHIP

Cancellation of membership

All monthly membership plans are on a monthly rolling contract. You may cancel your membership with at least one month’s written notice. Please Note: If you wish to re-join ARD Martial Arts you will be subject to the newest pricing plans.

​

Members can request for their membership to be frozen (put on hold) for injuries and emergencies only. ARD Martial Arts has the right to request a doctor’s note if necessary. NOTE: MEMBERS CANNOT FREEZE MEMBERSHIPS INDEFINITELY. MEMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO INDICATE AN END DATE TO THE FREEZE PERIOD, AFTER WHICH AUTOMATIC MONTHLY PAYMENTS WILL RE-START, UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTIFIED.

PHOTOGRAPHIC & VIDEO CONSENT

We may take photographs or video footage of the classes for use on promotional material or the ARD Martial Arts Academy website. Any photographs or video footage taken off the classes will only be used by ARD Martial Arts and will not be shared with any third party.

 

JEWELLERY

No watches, rings, necklaces, bracelets or any jewellery is to be worn during class. This is to prevent injury to yourself and your training partner and damages your jewellery.
